Nerys was born and raised on an upland beef and sheep farm in Mid-Wales.
Today, Nerys lives with her husband and two children in Bedfordshire in Eastern England.
Nerys remains a fluent Welsh speaker.

Nerys attended The University of Nottingham’s Sutton Bonington campus and studied for a BSc degree in Animal Science. Nerys returned to her Nottingham roots in 2014 and completed a part-time PhD in sheep production.
Experience

Nerys has worked in the agriculture industry for nearly 20 years. Firstly, as a Farm Business Consultant then Sheep Consultant at ADAS followed by a regional role at AHDB.
The ambition for Nerys is to combine her business management experience with her technical sheep knowledge to work with farmers and organisations in the sheep industry to achieve their goals.
